We have lodged a police report against Annuar Musa for breaching Clause 8A(1) and Clause 11 of the Printing Presses and Publication Act 1984 (PPPA) in the launching of the compilation of articles titled “DAP Bahaya Kepada Melayu-Islam Di Malaysia” (DAP a danger to Malays and Islam in Malaysia”) in Shah Alam yesterday.
Annuar Musa has caused damage to the racial relationship and harmony of Malaysian ever since his call for the essay writing competition, with the focus on maliciously accusing DAP Parliamentary Leader Lim Kit Siang as a racist. Annuar Musa had gone a step further, ignoring the provisions of legal requirements, by launching a book which has no author, no printer and no publisher’s details. This is in contravention with Clause 11 of the PPPA 1984.
It is also to be noted that Clause 8A(1) of the Act prohibits any publication of false news, subjecting the printer, publisher, editor or writer to an an offence of imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to a fine not exceeding twenty thousand ringgit or to both.
The whole essay writing competition by Annuar Musa is full of racist sentiment, with the intend to maliciously paint and baselessly accuse Kit Siang as a racist. Kit Siang’s track record in the past 51 years in Malaysia politics will prove that these are all lies and Annuar Musa shall be investigated under Clause 8A(1) of the PPPA.
We cannot allow Annuar Musa to take laws into his own hands. Malaysia laws need to be respected, and not repeatedly ignored and tarnished in such a way by Annuar Musa. We urge on the IGP Tan Sri Khalid to take immediate action on Annuar Musa and defend the rule of law of the nation.

DAPSY Chief Wong Kah Woh has lodged a police report against Annuar Musa earlier for committing an offence under the Penal Code, by inciting racial hatred amongst Malaysians. Annuar Musa has further committed more crime, this round under the PPPA specifically. The police needs to take immediate action against him.
