Last night Teoh Beng Hock Trust for Democracy launched “Justice for Teoh Beng Hock Postcard campaign” at Taiping Siang Malam food court to get public support to pressure the Home minister to instruct the police to immediately arrest and investigate the suspects in Teoh Beng Hock murder case.
The court of appeal in its judgement last September confirmed that Teoh Beng Hock was murdered and MACC officers who are involved in arresting and interrogating him are responsible to the death of Teoh Beng Hock.
During the Postcard campaign in Siang Malam food court, two MCA members who were coincidently there for another campaign to “Save Taiping Market” also showed their support and sign on Teoh Beng Hock’s postcard asking the Home Ministry to take immediate action and arrest Teoh Beng Hock murderers.
Liow Tiong Lai as the MCA President must feel ashamed that he does not have the courage of the two MCA grassroot members. When met by Teoh Beng Hock Trust for Democracy in parliament last year, Liow was even usure of the progress of Teoh Beng Hock court case and unaware of the court of appeal judgement.
Liow even asked, “Hasn’t Teoh Beng Hock case come to an end?”
I would like to answer Liow’s question. Teoh Beng Hock case will not come to an end until his murderers have been brought to justice.
I urge liow Tiong Lai as the MCA president and a Minister to raise this issue in the cabinet and pressure the police to immediately arrest Teoh Beng hock murderers. Failure in which Liow Tiong Lai is not even comparable to the two MCA grassroot members who are not afraid to show their support in seeking justice for Teoh Beng Hock.
