While many Malaysians have enjoyed my satirical video with good sense of humour, there are some racial bigots who have made false and malicious allegations against me.
A most sickening allegation which was made against me was that I had said “Malay Si” or ‘Melayu Mati.
What I said was “Ma Lai Sai Le ah”. “Ma Lai” simply means “kuda datang” (advancing horse), while “sai lei ah” means “sungguh hebat” (excellent).
I have in my yesterday’s statement also explained that my video did not touch on religion, race or Lahad Datu.
I have produced a satirical video which is totally acceptable in a democracy. For those who do not agree with the issues raised, they can voice their disagreement via dialogue. For those who wish to make comments, the first thing they should do is to watch and understand the video.
In this regard, Minister of Rural and Regional Development Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal and MCA MP for Alor Gajah Koh Nai Kwong must publicly apologise to me for making the false allegation that I had mocked security forces and Lahad Datu intrusion tragedy.
Koh Nai Kwang has also accused me of poking fun of the Lahad Datu tragedy and he has added that I was trampling on the dignity of the security forces who have sacrificed for the nation.
Shafie Apdal and Koh have made very irresponsible, serious, dangerous and false allegations against me . They have also by so doing misled the public and the security forces.
Irrespective whether they have made such comments for political purpose or simply because they have been misinformed, they must make an open apology.
I also wish to remind MCA leaders that if they are unable to accept political satire and freedom of expression in a democracy, they should at least not become political parrots of racial bigots and extremists.
MCA Wanita chief Heng Seai Kie is obviously one person who cannot accept political satire and has shown her stupidity by calling on MCMC and police to intervene and stop my video for the nation’s stability and unity.
It is her problem if she cannot accept political satire. But why should she act like a parrot and echo racial bigots’ line?
I challenge her to explain which part of the video contents has affected the nation’s stability and unity.
