First of all, I welcome this announcement as it is a big step forward to form formidable front to topple BN regime.
I must note that “it’s the First step”, then we will reveal our administration team as well as manifesto accordingly to show that we are ready to govern.
In the meantime, we still open for any partner who are sincere and sharing same goal to topple BN by joining this alliance. I deem this is first crucial move to regain public confidence and reignite hope that change is unstoppable. It will be even stronger team to realize regime change in Malaysia which is so much deserved for.
I think this announcement shows that we are ready to team up and say good bye to era of “disarray and disunity”, and we will continually convince the people that it would be the best alternative government-in-waiting which would offer “New Deal, New Hope, New Malaysia” for all Malaysians. Rest assured and Stay tuned, we will ensure that more positive news to come
On other note, I take this as a very positive good combination for all the four Parties entrusted with Power Sharing concept.
In particular, the DAP have three members listed in the line-up, who are Secretary General Lim Guan Eng, Kula Segaran (represent Indian community), and Chong Chieng Jen (represent East Malaysia). Especially for Chong Chieng Jen who is three terms MP and DAP National Vice Chairman, it’s appropriate for him as long-serving east Malaysian opposition MP to be appointed as Vice President for Pakatan Harapan representing East Malaysian.
This lineup is for ROS approval and in future there would be more council members added into the council. The issue of why no Sabah representatives should not be raised up, as it’s too early to make the assumptions.
I know that BN will play up the Divide and Rule tactic again. It’s clear that all the while they claimed that DAP is controlling PH however now they said That DAP is sidelined in the council. It is ridiculous and contradictory.
I would like to assure the public that we will build a stronger and formidable alternative front to face BN in next general election. We will earn people’s trust and support again to make an extraordinary change for this beloved country.
