The seat re-delineation and additional 13 state seats in Sabah has shown us the true color of the Election Commission. They work for thier political master. The whole exercise is just for strengthening UMNO dominance within Sabah BN coalition. DAP Sabah has speculated before the additional 13 seats before, and all our speculations are proven right with their location within which parliamentary seat, and 10/13 new seats are rightly named. Please refer to the table.
DAP Sabah has further speculated the seat allocation among the BN coalition, and we hope that we are getting wrong, so that UMNO would not control 9/13 new state seats. We challenge MCA, Gerakan and LDP to reject this seat re-delineation proposal as it is unjust and unfair to them.
None of the 13 new state seats are drawn from urban area. P172 Kota Kinabalu and P174 Penampang, are the populated urban parliamentary seats which do not see any newly added state seats even these two federal consituenticies are mentioned by Election Commission that they are affected by the proposed revision. Further study need to be carried out to understand the boundary redraw for these two seats.
