I call on all communities in Malaysia to support efforts for Malaysia to rise up again to be a great world-class nation.
All Malaysians, regardless of race, religion, politics or region, should support these “Save Malaysia” efforts to ensure that Malaysia avoid the fate of divided, failed and corrupt state in the coming decades.
Malaysia is not short of talents and abilities, but we must ensure that there is political stability and national unity of the races, religions and cultures in plural Malaysia to ensure that every Malaysian can fulfil his or her talents and capabilities, and has no reason to emigrate make other nations great instead of making Malaysia great.
We must learn from the lessons of the first Malaysian Diaspora where some two million Malaysians emigrated world-wide to make other nations great.
We do not want a second Malaysian Diaspora which will end up with Malaysia as a divided, failed and corrupt state like Sri Lanka in the coming decades.
We must not continue to lose our to other countries. We have lost out to Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea and even Vietnam.
Are we to lose out to Indonesia, Thailand, China and India?
Thailand has got a new Prime Minister who has pledged to make Thailand more competitive.
We can do no less for Malaysia.
The efforts of the Anwar unity government to spell out and implement Anwar Ibrahim’s vision of Ekonomi Madani will decide whether Malaysia will rise up again to become a great world-class nation, a venture which should be supported by all Malaysians, regardless of race, religion, politics or region.
