I call on the voters of Kedah to ‘Kalih bagi Sama’. The theme is a call for voters in Kedah to vote in a state government that is in line with the Federal Government.
The Kedah Government's annual budget is only RM1.0 bil while the Federal Government budget is RM386.0 bil for 2023. The Kedah yearly budget is not comparable to the Federal Government's annual budget allocation. The Federal Government would like to channel more funds and bring investors to Kedah but Kedah has an abrasive and arrogant Menteri Besar in Datuk Seri Mohammad Sanusi bin Md Nor. He antagonisted many people especially Prime Minister, Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim and the Federal Government. Kedahans become his victims. People are not able to stop Mohammad Sanusi from making enemies with so many people when he was the Menteri Besar but this Saturday (12th August) Kedahans will have a choice once in 5 years to decide if they still want Mohammad Sanusi to be their Menteri Besar.
The per capital income of Kedahans is RM25,000 per year or about RM2,000.00 per month while the per capital income of those in Kuala Lumpur is RM128,000 per year or about RM10,000.00 per month.
If the voters in Kedah continue to vote Mohammad Sanusi and Perikatan Nasional to helm the Kedah State, they will not see development in their State. Their salary will stagnate at RM2,000.00 per month while those in other states who vote PH and BN will see more developments and salary increases in the coming years as they will be cooperating and moving in line with the Federal Government.
