The nation has lost a great Malaysian son with the death of Amanah Deputy President and Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister Salahuddin Ayub.
In one of the last speeches at the “Jelajah Perpaduan Madani” ceramah at Baltu Buruk, Terengganu, Salahuddin revealed that was a “back-door” attempt to topple the Anwar unity government by inciting Barisan Nasional Cabinet members to quit the unity government.
Salahuddin said: “Cabinet members, including from BN and coalition parties in Pakatan Harapan (PH) are the most stable, strong, harmonious and unmoved by the incitement.
“The unity government led by Datuk Seri Anwar is the most stable and strong government and always strives to deal with the people’s problems.”
Lets dedicate the six state polls on August 12 to Salahuddin Ayub to further his vision of greater political stability and national unity in the country so that Malaysia can rise again and become a great world-class nation punching above its weight.
It will be against Salahuddin’s vision to see a change of government in Penang, Selangor and Negri Sembilan, and it will be part of Salahuddin’s wishes to see political changes in Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu so that these three states can be lifted from their position among the poorest states to be among the most developed states in Malaysia.
As Salahuddin said many times, the many parties in the Anwar unity government have a greater rakyat-centric agenda as compared to Perikatan Nasional (PN) and it was time for everyone from all parties to strengthen bonds for the benefit of the rakyat.
