The Permatang Pauh by-election victory by Datuk Seri Wan Azizah Ismail has fulfilled the people ‘s aspirations for Pakatan Rakyat to be strengthen to challenge Barisan Nasional for national power in the 14th general election.
The Penang DAP wants to congratulate PKR candidate Datuk Seri Wan Azizah Ismail for her victory in the Permatang Pauh by-election yesterday.
This victory has confirmed the people’s support for the Pakatan Rakyat as a viable alternative to the Barisan Nasional and also their aspirations to see the Pakatan Rakyat to be strengthen to be able to defeat the BN in the next general election.
This convincing victory in Permatang Pauh has also send a strong message to the BN that the people are generally fed-up with the way the country is administered and they wanted change.
The people also want the Pakatan Rakyat to consolidate and offer a promising hope for the future.
The Penang DAP will continue to remain steadfast in this political struggle to bring change to the country.
Lastly, the Penang DAP would like to thank the voters of Permatang Pauh for their steadfastness in supporting PR and keeping alive the spirit of “Reformasi “.
