DAP Wanita launches HERLEAD, an innovative political education program designed to empower and equip women with the skills and knowledge needed to become influential political leaders.
The launch was attended by DAP Wanita representatives such as DAP Wanita Chief, Saudari Teo Nie Ching, Deputy Chief, Saudari Yeo Bee Yin, Secretary, Saudari Wong May Ing, Political Education Director, Saudari Syerleena Abdul Rashid and Saudari Pang Sock Tao.
HERLEAD is not just another political education program. It stands out for its holistic
approach, combining rigorous educational modules with a personalised one-year
mentorship program.
This dual structure ensures that participants not only gain theoretical knowledge but
also receive practical guidance tailored to their individual strengths and aspirations.
Commenting on why HERLEAD is important, Saudari Syerleena mentions that DAP representatives want to share the knowledge and experience with the new pool of talent. “That is the essence of HERLEAD”.
