Last night, the DAP Perak family gathered for our much-anticipated annual dinner at Restaurant Super HLT, Ipoh. The event witnessed overwhelming support from party members and supporters across the state, filling the hall to capacity.
The evening was graced by the presence of all DAP Perak State Committee members and elected representatives, with YB Nga Kor Ming, DAP Perak State Chairman and Minister of Housing and Local Government, officiating the event. We began with the National Anthem, the Perak State Anthem, and our Party Song, setting the tone for the night.
YB Jenny Choy, the Organising Chairperson, delivered a warm and welcoming speech, followed by inspiring words from other prominent speakers, including YB Ngeh Koo Ham, Advisor for DAP Perak; YB V. Sivakumar, Deputy Chairman DAP Perak; and YB Wong Kah Woh, DAP Perak State Secretary.
The highlight of the evening was the address by our anchor speaker, YB Nga Kor Ming, who reignited our hopes for Malaysia’s future.
In addition to the inspiring messages, we are proud to announce that the dinner was a resounding success, raising approximately RM61,000—the highest amount ever collected at any DAP Perak dinner.
