Baseless and misleading accusation on a mistranslation in a Facebook post

I unequivocally refute the recent accusations made by the Sarawak Minister of Women, Children, and Community Wellbeing, Dato’ Sri Hajah Fatimah Abdullah, claiming that I used the term “broken athletes” to describe para-athletes. This claim is completely baseless and misleading.

At no point did I use such language. The term “broken athletes” is the result of a mistranslation by Facebook’s auto-translate feature from my original Chinese post. It is deeply troubling that the Minister would resort to making personal attacks without first verifying the accuracy of the translation. Such actions are not only unethical but also unfair.

I wish to emphasize once again that my Facebook post never contained the phrase “broken athletes.” The Minister’s decision to respond to the media based on an erroneous translation is highly inappropriate.
