Good news for air travellers this coming festive season! In anticipation of the high airline traffic as we approach the Christmas season, Transport Minister Anthony Loke has announced a subsidy cap at RM499 for airfares. This subsidy will take place four days leading up to Christmas ๐ŸŽ„๐ŸŽ„๐ŸŽ„

โ€œThis initiative covers flights between Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah or Sarawak,โ€ said Loke. โ€œWe anticipate more people travelling over the weekend. This involves setting a maximum fare for airlines. The subsidy will enhance convenience and benefit more Malaysians.โ€ said Loke during the launch of AirAsiaโ€™s fixed fare initiative for the upcoming festive seasons, including Chinese New Year 2025 ๐Ÿงง๐Ÿงง๐Ÿงง
