𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐬 𝐈𝐡𝐬𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐀𝐃𝐀𝐍𝐈 𝐒𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐝 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐨𝐫!

In their continuous efforts to help flood victims in Malaysia, the government through the Digital Ministry today had deployed the Ihsan MADANI Squad volunteers to provide aid and assistance to areas affected by the floods in Segamat, Johor. The Ihsan MADANI Squad volunteers consist of people from different agencies under the Ministry including the National Digital Department, MYNIC Berhad, CyberSecurity Malaysia, Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), Digital National Berhad, Personal Data Protection Department, and MyDIGITAL Corporation

According to Digital Minister, Gobind Singh Deo, volunteers will be delivering supplies that include bottled water, disposable diapers, toiletries, and sanitary pads to affected families in Segamat. “We all know that floods have impacted several parts of Malaysia, but the Digital Ministry has been tasked to focus on Johor. We will also ensure that supplies are delivered to other areas in Johor that need assistance. The Digital Ministry is committed to doing its best for those affected by the floods, and I hope this assistance helps alleviate their burden,” Gobind stated during the flag-off ceremony of the deployment
