Malaysians citizens studying or will be studying for a degree in Law (LL.B or equivalent) are invited to apply for the Karpal Singh Law Scholarship 2025 from the Democratic Action Party (DAP).
RM20,000 will be awarded to 10 successful applicants.
Terms and Conditions:
1. Applicant must be Malaysian citizen.
2. Applicant must be studying or will be studying for a degree in Law (LL.B or equivalent) in a public or private education institution, in or outside of Malaysia.
3. Applicant must provide personal details and supporting documents including letter of offer or confirmation from the higher education institution, as well as document relating to the income of the parent/guardian.
4. Applicant must also submit a written statement on why the applicant should be granted the scholarship.
5. Application is open from 13 August 2025 to 22 August 2025 (by 5pm).
6. Each successful applicants will receive RM20,000.
7. Successful applications will be announced in September 2025.
8. DAP is entitled to withdraw the scholarship if, in the party’s estimation, the recipient should no longer receive the scholarship. DAP is also entitled to request for further information from the applicant.
9. Any decision regarding this scholarship is final.
